At the Institute for Mobility and Transport (IMT) I am the Director of the Studies, Assessment and Foresight Service, being part of a team that raises the Portuguese transport and mobility systems to a higher level of sustainability and efficiency. 

Our daily commitment to a more sustainable  mobility is expressed through my work on a set of European transport and mobility projects (DATA4PT, Cooperative Streets, Napcore, EFTI4EU), on the evaluation of the Fare Reduction Support Programme (PART/Incentiva +TP), on the development of the national system for public transport data (STePP), on the Portuguese programme to support sustainable urban mobility planning (SUMP), on the portuguese ticketing systems interoperability project (1Bilhete.pt) and on the coordination of  the transport work group for the National Strategy for Climate Change Adaptation.
